I hope later parts of the game will be just a tinge less stressful, because I don't see how I am going to have the fortitude necessary to do multiples attempts on Shadows of Yharnam. I am usually too mentally exhausted to even attempt to get through the woods a second time because of how stressful it is! It just sucks the shortest path from the lantern to Shadows of Yharnam is still quite long, hard to navigate, and riddled with dangerous enemies. I can't even imagine having enough resources to kill Shadows of Yharnam by the time I do end up miraculously getting there, and that fight looks like it will be a damn hard one. Even if I make it a decent portion in, I end up getting ganged up on, losing my blood echoes at a point that was difficult to get to, and usually end up dying a second time before retrieving them. I've gotten through about half of it, and unlocked the elevator shortcut near the lantern there, but trying to get to Shadows of Yharnam seems next to impossible! There are TONS of snakes hiding everywhere, everything hits really hard and/or poisons, not to mention the level is super huge and hard to find your bearings in. I have been loving my experience the first time around, and admittedly looked up some things on where to go online (sacrilege, I know) but I am totally screwed when it comes to this Forbidden Woods. I feel like I have hit a wall in this game.
